In Yu-Gi-Oh! situation, there are many decks can make no solution combo ore FTK(First turn kill), but you don't worry about this in MATCH.
The reason are as follows：
1.The number of hand-cards in first play
In Master Rule 3, you can't draw card on draw phase in first play, meaing there are only 5 cards in hand, one less than old rule.
假如對手的牌組比較極端，先攻33%能直接贏，但是後攻就會輸(0%)，這時候在三戰兩勝中連續兩次先攻能湊到組合的機率只有33% x 33% < 10%，所以不穩的牌組的平均勝率反而會比穩定的牌組低。
2.Match with side rule
The formal game must progress 3 games and win two of these games, so the chance of First-Play strategy will be diluted. Especially, there is a game for opponent first play at least, in our second play game, then will increase the chance of interfered by opponent, and it's also a factor of chance for reducing making combo successful.
If the opponent' deck is extreme, the change of FTK is 33%, and will lose(0%) in second play, then he get only 33% x 33% <10% change for WIN rate. That means the win rate of not-stable deck is les than stable deck.
3.Those monsters can activate on the hand
In early Yu-Gi-Oh! environment, the fear of FTK is no solution for blocking.
But, with variety monsters can activate on the hand, as Effect Veiler or D.D Crow, evne get the first play, it's not absolute sucessful for making combo.
Therefore, sum up three point above, it's not exist a stable first-play specialized deck can easy get the champion in MATCH, it's called First Play Atheism.
